These are a little late, but I just got the digital files from our photographer last week. These are from our 1 year and family photo shoot we did in July.

Jeff and I did some serious yard work last weekend. We thought it might be one of the last really nice weekends before the freezing weather hits.
More prep for the cold weather...we got our fireplace all warmed up! It is the first time it has ever been used-in 12 years! Rio looks like he could be in an ad of some sort...lounging in front of the fire.

One of the funniest moments in motherhood thus far... Maddi was exhausted when we got home from the gym on Tuesday (this time change screwed her up for a couple of days). I was trying to get in her lunch before I laid her down...thinking once she started eating she would be fine and make it through her meal. Well, that was not the case...mid-bite she dozed off to sleep on the side of her high chair. I saw her and could not help from laughing, which kind of woke her up and then I grabbed the camera just in time to catch her dozing off again with the same bite of food in her mouth! AMAZING. I never knew you could be that tired.
What a precious and funny moment that I am so thankful I got to witness. Its the little things in life!

I LOVE this--the photos from the photo shoot are awesome! I love that Jeff is barefoot! So funny that Maddi fell asleep eating--wow! LOVED seeing you gals today--hopefully we'll see you next week!!!

Jess, that is too funny with Maddi falling asleep...I am literally laughing outloud! It's amazing how the tiniest change of schedule can affect them! She is just too stinkin' cute :)
